Below The Line Finance: Terms and Conditions for Finance Advice, Strategy Sessions & Consultancy/Power Hours

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a session. 

Agreement to Terms


By purchasing a session , you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use our website or purchase any products or services.

 

1. Scope of Service

1.1. The power hour finance advice consultation provides general financial and business guidance and information provided by an ICAEW Chartered Accountant - any tax guidance given is tailored to the UK jurisdiction. 

1.2. Regulatory Disclaimer: The consultant is not a registered financial advisor with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Any investment-related advice provided during the consultation is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as a solicitation to buy or sell securities.

1.3. No Financial Planning or Legal Advice: The finance advice provided during the power hour does not constitute financial planning or legal advice. Clients should seek the services of a certified financial planner or legal professional for comprehensive advice tailored to their individual needs.

1.4. Client Responsibility: The client acknowledges that they are responsible for their financial decisions and outcomes resulting from the advice provided during the consultation.

2. Payment and Refunds

2.1. The fee for the power hour consultation is due in advance and is non-refundable. In case of unforeseen circumstances, the consultation may be rescheduled.

2.2.  If the client needs to reschedule the consultation, they will (ideally) notify the consultant at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. 

 

3. Intellectual Property

3.1. Any branded documents shared in the Session/Consultation does not transfer any intellectual property rights or ownership to you. All intellectual property rights in any materials provided by the consultant remain with the consultant.

  

4. Disclaimer of Warranty


4.1. The Sessions/ Consultations are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. The consultant makes no representations or guarantees regarding the outcomes or advice provided during the meeting(s).

 

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. The consultant shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred as a result of the client's reliance on the advice provided during the meeting.

6. Privacy Policy

6.1. Confidentiality: All information shared during the consultation will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the client's express consent, except as required by law.

7. Governing Law


7.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

 

8. VAT and International Tax Information


8.1. The listed price for our digital products is inclusive of a 20% Value Added Tax (VAT), as mandated by UK tax regulations. Customers purchasing from outside the UK should be aware that tax implications may vary, and are advised to consult their local tax laws accordingly. Additionally, for business entities registered for VAT, the Reverse Charge mechanism may be applicable. 9. Changes to Terms and Conditions


9.1. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for any changes.

 

By proceeding with the session or consultation, the client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
